If you really want to take your health and fitness to the next level then you have to start looking at what you do with the other 23 hours in the day and a huge part of that is how you are fuelling your body.

At Remarkables CrossFit we realise the importance of proper nutrition and understand the immense impact aligning our nutritional practices with our goals can have on our results. However, we also understand how tough this can really be to put into practice. With so much information out there on different diets and nutritional strategies, all of which claim to be the one and only answer it can be extremely confusing to even know where to start. That is why we at Remarkables CrossFit our now extremely excited to offer ​PERSONAL NUTRITION COACHING.

So what does that mean?

Personal nutrition coaching means working with your coach – Ziggy Dukes – to find a nutrition plan that works for you, your lifestyle and your goals. Constant communication, continued feedback and support to help you understand what good nutrition looks like, how you can implement it and how other factors of your lifestyle also play into your goals such as sleep, stress and rest.

You’ll begin with an initial consultation where we will discuss your goals, lifestyle, work and family commitments and help us build a picture of what your lifestyle looks like and how we can successfully make nutritional changes to get you where you want to go. From there we will make gradual changes based on feedback and communication, working to constantly help educate you on what we are doing and why we are doing it while steadily progressing towards your goal.

Our goal through nutrition coaching is not to have you be reliant on us for the rest of your life, but instead to teach you the reasoning behind what we are doing and to help you form an understanding of the underlying principles to great nutritional practices so eventually you will be able to do it for yourself.

Great nutrition looks different to everyone and should be individualised. We all have different goals, our bodies react differently and our needs are not all the same. In order to create long lasting success you don’t just need to go on another diet, you need to find YOUR diet! The one that works for you, is sustainable long term and that gets you where you want to go.

But what’s included?

The first thing you have to understand when it comes to creating long lasting results and making changes to your diet that are sustainable and realistic is that it’s going to take some time! That’s why we ask for at least a 3 month commitment to nutrition coaching. This gives us a great starting block of time to make some REAL changes without taking shortcuts and yoyoing on just another 6 week diet challenge – We are
trying to find a way of eating that can last you a lifetime.

  • Before and after BodyScan measurements
